Please Partner with Al McCarn Today

Dear PSN Friends & Partners:

Our good friend Al McCarn has served Prayer Surge NOW! ministry since July 2007, beginning during his assignment in the Pentagon and deployment in Iraq as LTC US Army.  Upon his retirement from the military, Al has faithfully volunteered his services as a co-host of Operation Prayer Surge Prayer Points, providing us with insight into intercession for Israel, the Middle East, and Ukraine.

Now, we have an opportunity to serve Al.
Would you join us in partnering with Al and his wife Charlayne in their upcoming Israel ministry trip, May 18-28, representing PSN.  Please read the details of their opportunities to serve in Israel below and prayerfully consider partnering with the McCarns both in prayer and by giving generous donation by end of this month.  Your tax-deductible check can be made out to "Early Light Fund" (Memo: "Al McCarn") and sent to:

Prayer Surge NOW! Representation at the
First Ephraimite / Northern Israel National Congress
Ariel, Israel, May 25-27, 2015

Prayer Surge NOW! partner Al McCarn and his wife Charlayne will be traveling to Israel May 18-28 to attend the First Ephraimite/Northern Israel National Congress. This gathering is inspired by the First Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, in 1897. As the Lord used that Congress to begin the restoration of the Jewish State of Israel in 1948, the First Ephraimite Congress is destined to set in motion similar events for the non-Jewish portion of Israel currently scattered among the nations and found largely among the various Christian confessions and the Messianic/Hebrew Roots Movement.

Congress delegates represent believers from 12 nations (Canada, Finland, France, Germany, India, Israel, Jordan, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States) who have awakened to their identity as Israelites based on the testimony of Scripture. Knowing that the Lord intends to restore the entire nation of Israel, and to use that nation for His redemptive purposes in all nations, they are seeking the Lord’s direction on what He expects of them in this process. The Congress is a step of faith, believing that the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) is even now restoring the entire Kingdom to Israel just as His Apostles asked (Acts 1:6-8). If this is indeed so, then the Ephraimite Congress and its follow-up work will be a historic development in healing the breach between Christians and Jews and redefining their common identity as one nation under the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, restored in obedience to His Living Word.

The Congress will focus on four major topics: Identity (Revelation 12:17); National Cohesion (Psalm 133:1); Formation of a Nation (Exodus 19:6, 1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:6); and Financial and Organizational Matters (Isaiah 60:5). The short duration (3 days) is not enough to go into great detail on these topics, but is enough to lay the foundation for global and regional cooperation as a nation scattered among the nations. Further information is available at http://etzbneyyosef.com/projects.html.

Al and Charlayne have been involved in the Congress planning and in helping raise awareness both in Texas where they live and worldwide through Al’s blog, The Barking Fox. Al will serve as facilitator at the Congress and will make a presentation on the topic of Israelite Identity, a subject covered in his book, Give Me A Place Where I May Dwell: An Ephraimite Affirmation (available at https://www.createspace.com/5256225, or on Amazon in print and Kindle format at http://www.amazon.com/Give-Place-Where-May-Dwell/dp/150754300X/). They will travel to Israel on May 18 to assist with the final preparations for the Congress, and then on Friday, May 22, go to the venue at the Eshel HaShomron Hotel in Ariel. The Congress runs from May 25-27, but several delegates will be gathering over the weekend to celebrate Pentecost (Shavuot) and engage in prayer, worship, and other spiritual preparation as the Holy Spirit directs. They will be coming home on May 28, the day after the Congress concludes.

Al and Char are in need of help with travel expenses. They welcome your prayers for this need and for the Holy Spirit to move at this Pentecost to advance the work begun at the Pentecost long ago when the restoration of Israel began after our Messiah’s resurrection.
