The Great Harvest in the Middle East! “Why Muslims Convert”

This inspirational letter was sent to PSN from a deployed service member in Iraq:

"I found this e-mail (http://www.breakpoint.org/listingarticle.asp?ID=7670) to be encouraging. This week I've been asking God to see what He's doing here in Iraq. Jesus said he could only do what he sees the Father doing, and we're the same. We need to be praying into what we see the Father doing. We're praying for the land of Iraq, and specifically for the church here, but it's hard to see what's going on in the church outside the wire. The understanding I had for it is it's like giving birth. I remember when my daughter was born, being so surprised at the personality that she had at the moment of birth. I knew there was life inside her belly, but I didn't SEE, or KNOW the life that was in her - it was more distant - until the day of her birth. It's the same way with the church in Iraq. I know there's life growing out there, but we don't SEE it, or KNOW it - we just pray a prayer of faith that God is doing a wonderful thing - and he IS!"

"Keep the prayer fire burning!"

"Lord, let Your Kingdom COME! We stand together in the GAP for the LAND of Iraq - this beautiful land. We ask that the word of the Lord will spread quickly. Because the harvest is so plentiful and the workers are so few, would You send laborers to Baghdad for a mighty harvest. We love You and the good things that You are doing here. Your work is GOOD, Lord!"
