11.4.08 National Election & Beyond
We are about to enter a month of “October Surprises”. As the people called to shape history with God, our choices today can make shape the course of our communities, states & nation. Will we choose to pray for and live out what God has already declared in heaven and experience His blessings? Or, will we walk in the ways the Nation of Israel and enter into judgment for their wickedness that surpassed the surrounding pagan nations?
October 2008 will test our hearts for what is come on 11/4 Election Day & beyond. Let us not stand around and receive the surprises of the enemy, but rather “confidently approach the throne of grace” with “hearts fully loyal to Him” on bended knees. Then perhaps God will leave us His blessing “for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness.” (Hebrews 4:16; 2 Chronicles 16:9; Joel 2:13-14)

Humility Today or Humiliation Tomorrow
