Dear Intercessors Across the Nation:
We launched "A Week of National of Humiliation, Fasting & Prayer" this morning in the spirit of repentance and hope for our nation. We must recognize that even if God gave us everything we asked for and more on 11/4, unless the heart of the Church is pure from this world, humble towards God and one another, and willing to be the answers to our own prayers, we will continue to march towards deeper judgment.
Let us therefore confess that as a nation...
"We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!" Then, acknowledge and walk in the ways of Psalm 33...
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance." (Verse 12)
"For our heart have trusted in His holy name. Let your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, just as we hope in You." (Verses 21 & 22)
In our right standing with God, we enter into an abiding relation with Him. Then, whatever we ask He will do because we are choosing to honor the Son and obey His word. (John 15).
Let us be inspired by men such as William Penn and Abraham Lincoln! Let us inspire the world to know the One who is giving us hope and peace!

Introduction to
A WEEK OF NATIONAL HUMILIATION, FASTING & PRAYER

This letter may be a confirmation to some of you and others may have a greater background on the topic of this letter. Nevertheless, the Heart of Our Father is to encourage ALL of us and to enter into His Throne Room of Grace today and everyday until the Return of His Son and Our King! In this spirit, I humbly share with you what He has placed in my heart concerning PA & America at such a time as this.
My daughter and I are reading together William Penn: Liberty and Justice for ALL by Janet & Geoff Benge. This is a book families can read together and learn God's foundation for America. A couple of days ago we read the chapter on how William Penn received "Pennsylvania" from King Charles II and his arrival to the New World. Both of us were great inspired and overjoyed at the reading of how the colony of "Penn Forest" was birthed in October 28, 1682 with the signing of the official documents in New Castle.
God used William Penn to bring about His Holy Experiment. If God's people would love Him as well as the believer and the unbeliever, He would establish His LIBERTY & JUSTICE FOR ALL in PA and the surrounding regions and the nations would be blessed. He would bless the people of Pennsylvania so that they may bless the nations! In a way, William Penn is the "Abraham" to our nation. As Abraham, Penn did not have a complete understanding of Kingdom Principles. However, as Abraham, Penn was willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING to allow God to succeed in His Holy Experiment in PA & beyond!
PA & Philadelphia began with great success in 1682! This continued into 1776! And in 1863, the year of National Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer & The Gettysburg Address. The BIG question for the intercessors is: WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO PENNSYLVANIA & THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN 2008!?
Although I do not have the time at this moment to share with you the causes of us falling away as a nation, I am being prompted to share how the LORD may deliver us from the mess created by His bride.
I am encouraged that what God brought through William Penn & the Quakers and many others & movements in the same spirit continues to this day. Many PA intercessors are examples of God's continual success and the Keepers of His Royal Covenant! However, the enemy of the Lord Jesus & our souls has a mighty stronghold in God's Keystone State, especially in the "City of Brotherly Love". How could this be!? Why would God allow such a thing? After all, what happens in PA will continue to impact the rest of America & the nations.
I believe God has shown me that without God's victory in PA on 11/4 (Election Day), there will be a GREAT JUDGMENT in our nation and as several other nations. However, if the intercessors prevail in the strength of the Father's Mighty Arm, as Moses experienced in Exodus 17, we will begin to see much that has been lost in our nation by the concessions of the American Church restored! Once again THE KEYSTONE STATE must take the lead as William Penn did in the 17th & 18th centuries and MODEL TO THE ALL PEOPLES THE GLORY OF THE RISEN SAVIOR.
Let us call October 28, 2008, 326th Anniversary of that glorious day & ONE WEEK PRIOR TO 11/4 ELECTION, as the beginning of A WEEK OF HUMILIATION. FASTING & PRAYER. I join you and I will encourage intercessors across America to merge our hearts with yours & with the HEART OF THE ONE WHO LIVES TO INTERCEDE ON OUR BEHALF!
