Dear Intercessors Across Our Nation:

Would you join me in interceding for the upcoming midterm elections on November 4 (less than 5 weeks away!) and encouraging fellow followers of Christ to take our Kingdom values to the ballot box?

I am serving with my good friend Pierre Bynum, National Prayer Director, Family Research Council, in guiding Christians to www.ipledgesunday2014.com.  Please read Pierre's Memo to Praying Christians below or posted here, and respond TODAY.

Pierre and I are also asking those who are leading prayer organizations to join iPledge Sunday Prayer Leaders Coalition.  If you are a prayer leader and/or would like to invite prayer leaders to join, please read my letter posted here or request an email invitation through me.

Please note that Family Research Council is among several national organizations partnering together for iPledge Sunday and Prayer Surge NOW! is one of many prayer ministries that has joined the coalition.  We are promoting intercession and non-partisan joint effort to mobilize biblical value votes.

Support iPLEDGE SUNDAY 2014 COALITION with Prayer!

MEMO TO PRAYING CHRISTIANS: 

God’s blessing has made America the greatest and the freest nation in the history of the world. Our Forefathers crafted for us a government “of, by and for the people” so that those who are loyal to our King Jesus can preserve us as One Nation under God, if we will!

Every Election Day is a day when God’s people must rise to the occasion to exercise their responsibility as American citizens – to vote for those who, in their discernment, are the very best candidates who share their biblical values.  We should vote for leaders who “love and fear God,” who are “men of truth,” and who “hate covetousness” (Exodus 18:21). Each of us must do our part to help our nation stay on a course God can bless.

In the last several national elections, pollsters tell us that in many Christian congregations, fewer than half of the members voted. This is tragic. If our nation is ever again to know God’s blessing as we have in the past, it will be because Christians who value our liberty, exercise their vote, and vote for men and women who will guide our government in a direction that is pleasing to our Lord and Savior.

Time is short –iPledge Sunday is October 12th, and Election Day, Nov. 4th.
God is calling all believers to pray, “first of all” – for Kings and all who are in authority (1 Tim 2:1-8).  Many ministries, including Prayer organizations from across America are joining the iPledge Sunday 2014 Coalition and encouraging their prayer networks to:
  • PRAY FOR THE EVENT - Asking God to multiply the number of churches, groups and families across America that will view the Special Sunday evening Webcast, to be broadcast live on iPledgeSunday2014.com, October 12th; that the message will reach as many believers as possible.
  • PRAY FOR GOD’S PEOPLE - That the Body of Christ will hear the message, take their own responsibility to vote seriously and take the “1, 2, 3 Vote” pledge not only to vote themselves, but to urge two other believers to register to vote, and all three to follow-through to vote their Biblical values.
  • PRAY FOR THE ELECTIONS – That Christians would vote their values in mass for the best qualified candidates they can identify in the November Election.
iPledge Sunday Coalition 2014 is a non-partisan Christian alliance organized to encourage Christians to fulfill their duty to vote in the November 2014 Election – and to vote their conscience guided by their Biblical values.

Dear Prayer Ministry Leader:

Your devotion to intercessory ministry for your local city/region and our nation is deeply appreciated, and I am privileged and honored to serve with you.  This letter comes to you with great expectation for the future of America and I invite you to join me in the following opportunity of united intercession and action.

I am personally asking you to participate in the growing coalition of ministry leaders towards Holy Spirit led intercession for our nation and mobilization of Christ-centered votes for the Father's glory in the upcoming Midterm Elections.  You would agree that the heart and soul of America must return to our biblical foundation which includes the mandate of exercising our God given freedom and responsibility at the ballot box, and inspiring others to do the same, in order to influence the much needed transformation of the Sphere/Mountain of Government. 

Would you commit yourself and your ministry to iPledge Sunday 2014: The Rise of the Church and join fellow prayer leaders and prayer organizations in making a significant impact in the outcome of November 4th Election Day?  This will include a kick-off live webcast event of information, inspiration, and invitation in mobilizing Kingdom value votes on October 12th.  iPledge Sunday is a NON-PARTISAN JOINT EFFORT to get out the vote.

Here's how you can respond today:
  • Please feel to request a letter from my friend Pierre Bynum, Chaplain and National Prayer Director, Family Research Council, with additional details.  I am serving with Pierre in connecting with prayer leaders regarding this important initiative.

The upcoming Midterm Elections (in just 5 weeks!) will play a critical role in determining the path of our nation.  Together as servant leaders of prayer ministries from coast-to-coast and cities/regions throughout these United States, let us unite our hearts and prayers as ONE, vote for godly candidates, AND urge the Body of Christ to do the same.  Together in Christ, we will be His CATALYSTS for our Father's destiny for America!
