1/15 National Intercession for CA Prop. 8

November 4, 2008 National Election resulted in a significant political change.  It also exposed the disunity and deep issues in the Body of Christ.  We must first deal with these great changes and challenges with proper applications of 2 Chronicles 7:19 and 1 Timothy 2:1-8 on our bended knees.  God is still looking towards His House as the greater answer than the White House or the State Houses.

Last National Election also gave us a very slim majority in affirming biblical marriage in the State of California.  PSN’s position is that although we lovingly pray for ALL PEOPLE, we will intercede on the successful implementation of California Proposition 8, “The Marriage Amendment.”  Tomorrow, Thursday, 1/15, is the last day for the parties filing law suits against Prop. 8 to present important document called amicus curiae or “friend-of-the-court” briefs.

PSN invites you to a special national conference call prayer meeting in the morning of this important day for CA Supreme Court.  Among our invited guest are Stephanie Steel, CA Governor’s Prayer Team (6am Pacific) & Fred Berry, Azusa Street Mission (7am Pacific).  Please consider joining us tomorrow, 1/15, 6-8am Pacific.

1/17 Remembering Dr. King & Focus on Barak Obama

Intercessors across America are invited to PSN Weekly Saturday morning JOINT PRAYER MEETINGS ACROSS AMERICA.  This Saturday, 1/17, we will continue to intercede for the Middle East, especially on the current war between Israel and Hamas.  We will also spend much of the conference call in remembering the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and praying on behalf President-elect Barak Obama and his incoming administration.

Our guest speakers Alice Patterson, Justice at the Gates, and Fred Berry, Azusa Street Mission, will address us in the spirit of reconciliation, unity and justice that needed in our nation during this critical hour.  Susan Landry, San Francisco Bay Area Intercessor/Networker, will speak on the move of God in uniting the Bay Area Church for the nations.

The Conditional Promise of Jeremiah 3:14-15

2 Chronicles 7:14 is a conditional promise God made with His people.  In fact, approximately 90% of biblical prophecies are conditional based on our hearts and actions. 

Another key conditional promise is found in Jeremiah 3:14-15:

14 “Return, O backsliding children,” says the LORD; “for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. 15 And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. (NKJV)

2009 will be one of the most critical years in our nation’s history!  Would you join us in praying for the Spirit’s cleaning work in the Body of Christ?  Would you pray for His Church that is moving in intimate fellowship with Christ and one another?  Would you ask God to give us leaders in families, the Church, government, education, businesses, the media, etc?
