Our Response to Terror in Boston
Written Monday, April 15, 2013

Dear Brothers & Sisters:

I am writing this letter to you late in the evening on April 15, a very special day in the history of our nation, which as been shadowed by violent explosions in Boston.  On April 15, 2013, many in America were celebrating Jackie Robinson Day (which broke the color barrier in professional sports), Patriot Day (set aside to commemorate "The Shot Heard Around the World"), and the running of Boston Marathon.    
What took place at the finish line of one of the most famous marathon races shifted our hearts and minds to the many victims (3 killed & 144 injured), their families, public safety, and those who are committing such terrorist acts.  You might be thinking, if this happened in Boston, it might happen in your city, community, or neighborhood.
This tragic event ought to bring us to our bended knees to petition Heaven with cries of help, mercy, grace, justice and security as our government and law enforcement agencies cannot guarantee protection and safety.  No matter what happens in life, we can count on Jesus' words: As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you.  Now abide in My love (John 15:9).  We can also claim & live out Jesus' mandate: As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you (John 20:21).  Let us receive the love of the Father and reach the lost who are both inside and outside the Church.
In 2 months, in several cities across the nation as well as in Ontario, Canada and Bangalore, India, servant leaders with the Heart of the Father will gather the Millennials, Gen Yers, teens/youth, college students that they may receive the real and unconditional love of the Father.  Would you gather with at one other leader in your city, pray and consider hosting an event in your city?

Let us honor our Father in Heaven by bringing to Him hearts of this young generation who are desperate to know His love and walk as mothers & fathers of their cities.
