Multiple national ministries have heard the call to pray for our nation through this holiday weekend, especially for protection over Washington, D.C. this Memorial Day from any threats from ISIS. My understanding is that two events are: Sunday night concert in the Capitol Hill area, and the Memorial Day parade down Constitution Avenue near the White House on Monday afternoon.

Perhaps even more serious is the need for the Church to awaken, to repent and turn back to the Lord, to be holy as He is holy, and to be ones who are united and effective in our witness. How can we expect His protection, if we don’t first have right relationship with the Lord who we are calling upon for that protection?
