Dear Friends,
This is a week to pray for North America if you can please join us in covering some important things happening in the next few days.
This coming weekend more than 160 leaders of prayer ministries and networks across the the USA will gather in Colorado Springs, October 18-20, for a special prayer initiative on national security, “Seeking God’s Face for the Deliverance and Destiny of America”. We will be briefed by three recently retired generals, one of the founding members of the Homeland Security department, a converted Muslim jihadist and others. It will be a time of all-out intercession for our beloved nation that seems to have lost its course in so many ways due to increasing social wickedness coupled with weak and corrupt leadership from the government. It is time to pray! One prayer leader wrote to say he sensed that it would be a “battle for the soul of America”.
The Deliverance and Destiny initiative will be preceded by the National Day of Prayer Leadership Summit, at the same place in Colorado Springs, October 16-18. Many of their coordinators and other intercessors from around the country will gather. We are doing the two events in tandem and our prayer is that the Lord will bring greater unity to the prayer movement by being in His presence together.
Would you please pray for a powerful and wonderful time in which organizational silos are broken down and personal agendas give way to His agenda for these gatherings and for our troubled nation? Please pray for all the speakers, facilitators and participants to be anointed to play their unique and essential roles so that we hear from the Lord and see supernatural breakthroughs and a turnaround for America over time since history really does belong to those who pray (Psalms 2:8, Isaiah 62:6-7, Ezekiel 22:30, etc.).
Another key thing happening for North America is Canada’s national election. A prayer leader friend of mine has sent the two helpful attachments with greater details about the election. He also wrote: “On Monday, October 19th, we have a Federal Election which will determine who rules in Canada over the next 5 years. The three main parties are pretty well equally split and could result in a minority government, or a coalition. The current PM is unpopular in the media. You may be interested to have a look at
