Founder/President, The Justice Foundation and Operation Outcry

On Monday, Nov. 9, we filed a Friend of the Court brief,  (click here to read) on behalf of 3,355 Women Injured by Abortion and an Abortion Survivor, Dawn Milberger, at the United States Supreme Court supporting the Arkansas ban on abortion after 12 weeks. This is the largest number of post-abortive women's voices to ever reach the Supreme Court, by God's grace.

On February 11, 2000, the Lord confirmed to us His previous word that we were to collect the testimonies of women hurt by abortion and take them to the United States Supreme Court.  He had previously given us the idea in the Dallas-Fort Worth airport on the way back from the first March for Life I attended back in 2000.  He let me know that only through the testimonies of women hurt by abortion could we refute the lie that abortion is good for women.

These testimonies are the fruit of that revelation and those testimonies have already touched the heart of Justice Kennedy and the majority of the Supreme Court in Gonzales v. Carhart.  IGonzales the Supreme Court upheld the federal ban on partial birth abortion and stated that, "it is unexceptionable to conclude that "some women regret aborting the infant life they once created and sustained, and that severe depression and loss of esteem can follow."

The scriptures the Lord gave us to confirm this idea were given to us on the evening of February 11, 2000, and Saturday morning (the next day) February 12, 2000.  They include Isaiah 28 through Isaiah 36 which have been our foundational scriptures and which are still highly relevant through today.  The key passages that have sustained Operation Outcry and The Justice Foundation for these 15 years have been Isaiah 28:14-22, particularly, "I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line.  Hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies and the waters will overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand."

Each one of the testimonies is a hail stone. Each testimony by itself frightens the enemy but by itself cannot destroy the refuge of lies that protect abortion in America.  But a hailstorm, thousands and thousands can destroy the refuge of lies.

Every time we or you tell their stories it refutes the lie that abortion is good for women.  That is why we have included in the Appendix of the Brief all of the names and the names of their children for those who have given them to us.  See Appendix A. We have also included an excerpt of testimony from all of the women from Arkansas since this case arose in Arkansas.  See Appendix B (starting at App. 30).

North Dakota filed a brief in its case supporting a ban on abortion after six weeks.  Click here to read the Brief.  Within thirty days after that, we will be filing another brief in support of that state.

It is time to pray to the Lord, the Master of Breakthroughs, for a breakthrough at the Supreme Court.

When the North Dakota case reaches the Supreme Court that means there will be four states who are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to ban or restrict abortion.

1.   Mississippi - Requires ambulatory surgical centers and hospital admitting privileges.  The law resulted in shutting down all abortion facilities in the state of Mississippi.

2.      Texas - Adopted the same law and the only abortion facilities are left in major urban areas.  They were shut down in El Paso, Rio Grande Valley and all rural areas.

3.     Arkansas - passed a ban on abortion after twelve weeks, if there is a heartbeat; and

4.            North Dakota - passed a ban on abortion after six weeks, if there is a heartbeat.

Obviously North Dakota is the best case, but the Court could take any one, two, three or four, or some combination of these cases can end the covenant with death, the agreement with the grave that is abortion.

We could not have reached this point without your help and support.  Your prayers and support are critical.  Thank you and we thank our Lord Jesus Christ.

Advancing Life, Liberty and Justice in Him,

Allan E. Parker
President
